SuiteCommerce Stock Notifications

Overview

Provide your customers with the opportunity to sign up for email notifications when their chosen product is available for purchase again.

It can be frustrating for customers to see their desired product is out of stock — if they can't get what they want, they may go to a competitor. The Stock Notifications extension gives customers the option to sign up to receive an email when your inventory levels have been replenished and they have the opportunity to buy the product again.

The sign up form is a simple form on Product Details Pages that only appear when the product is marked as out of stock. It accepts the user's name and email address, and, optionally, if they also want to sign up for other marketing emails.

Customers can track which products they are subscribed to in their My Account section. They are automatically emailed by the system when stock is available — no additional manual work is required.

The extension includes saved searches that help you track notification subscriptions. These can be useful reporting tools as they can inform you which products are garnering the most interest from your customers, and help you prioritize the products you should replenish first.
