Designed for businesses that deal in high-volume sale to customers who receive goods by freight units, such as containers and trucks.  This SuiteApp empowers salespeople with freight estimation and planning capabilities to help customers optimise quotations based on their purchase budget and preferred freighting arrangement.

Once a draft quotation is defined, estimate for the number of freight units can be provided along with packing details.  The salesperson and customer can collaborate to adjust product quantities in the quotation for having all freight units fully packed.  Together, they can fine-tune a good balance between the quotation size and a goods receiving plan or an inventory replenishment plan.

The report generated from the finalised quotation has details for everyone, including warehouse pick/pack/ship at each dispatch location, logistics and customer goods receive.

Optimised Packing Estimation

Enhances the NetSuite Quotation transaction by providing a projected ship manifest-like report.  Salespeople can easily specify the quotation by line items, quantity in stock-keep-unit (SKU), and dispatch location.  The built in packing estimation calculates the packing results based on customer preferred freight units, applying business and operational knowledge to help customers save time and money.

Units conversion.  Product, SKU and freight unit become related upon defined at quotation.  A product can be sold in different SKUs in the form of quantity-to-SKU, as well as SKU in different dispatch packaging for everyday and different occasions such as for Christmas, or promotional events.  Freight unit can be any of the container types or truck sizes depending on delivery needs.  A quotation sets the units conversion for estimation and planning.

“What-if” for fine-tuning.  Takes seconds to generate freight unit reports from a quotation, with outlines on products, SKUs, quantities, dispatch locations and preferred freight units; and with details on packing .  Salespeople can easily make adjustments via action buttons within the quotation for changes to the outlines for scenarios and towards a desirable outcome.
